I had the extreme pleasure of working with Sally Mercedes on the branding for her work and brand Reclaim Sacred. Sally works primarily with amazing, soulful, talented people in a number of ways, most of which can be summed up as supporting their full, confident, authentic expression – whether that expression is a business, a creative project, or their life. Over the last few years she has been committed to reclaiming all things as sacred and working with pleasure as a spiritual teacher and sacred healer. I was so delighted when she asked me to work with her on the branding because I knew whatever came through would be energetically alive, vibrant and all around amazing. We knew that the energy of Reclaim Sacred would be pulsating throughout the creation of this brand and it brought to the table some very interesting concepts including taking the intangible and making it tangible, movement and fluidity vs. structure, as well as lush, rich colors and deep textures. I explored these ideas through creating typography and shapes that spanned both sides of the spectrum of messy and clean - channeled hand-written scripts paired with clean line 8-pointed star and other geometric shapes, imagery that reflected the infinite with a human touch…the result? A multi-faceted, sacred brand, that has infinite possibilities for mixing, matching, and more!
